“Room was less than clean. Pull out bed was not useable, the mattress was too thin and old to use. Slept on the floor.”

“The room was fine but staff were not friendly, especially the morning staff who was rude and not at all helpful with the breakfast buffet. She yelled at someone trying to find something for their coffee in the refrigerator and there seemed to be a problem with pancake or waffle batter. She then stormed out without helping anyone. I decided to leave at that point without breakfast.”

“The room is clean and quiet. We had a room with a kitchenette and a washer/dryer which was helpful! Although there is a laundromat across the street. The location is walkable to everything and we had a great view. Our key card stopped working at least once a day which was frustrating. The exterior of the hotel is very dated, but it adds to the Prince Rupert charm. Breakfast was good and we appreciated that it was included, The gym has been renovated and was a great space to work out in. ……

“Great location with a wonderful view of the harbour. There were some issues with the shower head slipping on the bar but once asked the repairman arrived promptly to remedy the problem. The complimentary breakfast room was well run with helpful staff.”

“Our stay at Hekate’s retreat was fantastic. We stayed in the Fairway cottage and could roll out onto the golf course right after a coffee on the deck. The bed was the most comfortable bed and we slept well. We were very happy to use the nordic spa. Brenna and Jordan were so helpful whenever we needed anything.”

“Would have loved to have a kettle and/or microwave in the room, especially on the Monday when the restaurant was closed.”

“What an amazing place! Glamping at its finest. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Everything you can possibly need they have it covered. You can even purchase meat and seafood from them to cook on the bbqs. What a wonderful place!!!”

“Though the room was older it was cozy and clean. Staff was amazing and helpful. Bathroom no mold so yay!! It does take 2 hours to drive from motel to tow hill area but the drive which we did everyday was beautiful and amazing.”

“The tiny home was decorated beautifully. The bathroom was clean and roomy. The view was spectacular had the ocean and grazing cows out the back windows. Loved it.”

“Really well equipped kitchen with lots of seasonings and condiments provided. Don’t go grocery shopping until you see what is there. Coffee and tea provided. Super comfortable beds and lots of towels and cozy blankets for curling up in front of the fireplace. Fantastic place to use as a base for exploring!”
